This book gives authoritative information on each class of tram currently in use on the Melbourne Tram network ranging from the distinctive W series trams to the latest E class trams.
It gives some information on infrastructure developments as well as heritage and preservation activities.
The book is perfect bound in glossy illustrated card covers. Pages are numbered 1-76 and are preceded by 4 unnumbered pages. There are 103 colour photographs as well as three network map and 14 diagrams showing layout and dimensions. The book is arranged in landscape A4 format.
The book is divided into chapters covering history of the Melbourne tram network, W series trams, Z series, A, B, C, D and E series trams. Tram museums are covered with examples of their working and display trams. There is a fleet review and an infrastructure review and a glossary.
For posting, the book will be packed in a stout cardboard book mailing box. The book weighs, when packed, just under 600 grams. As a consequence, Parcel Post applies. Additional Postal services are available and will be charged at cost, upon request.
