Borrowing Rights at the Prahran Mechanics' Institute (PMI) for ARHS Members

As the ARHS is an institutional member of the PMI, ARHS members have the same borrowing rights as PMI members. However they must first register as a PMI borrower and this requires them to attend the institute and to show ID in the form of the ARHS membership card and evidence of their current address. They then receive a PMI membership card and will subsequently receive the PMI newsletter and notices of new additions to the library and sale of surplus books. Effectively they become full members of the PMI.
