The 26 Km branch to Redesdale ran in a northerly direction from Redesdale Junction (between Kyneton and Malmsbury on the Melbourne to Bendigo railway.
This book gives the history of the planning, building, opening in 1891 and operation of the line until its demise in 1954.
There are approximately 75 b/w photographs, station layout diagrams, maps and statistical information.
There are also appendices dealing with Safeworking, Livestock train schedulingand station plans.
The 238-page book is A4 in size, in illustrated soft covers and has approximately 282 black.white photographs, station track diagrams, maps.
For posting, the book will be packed in a stout cardboard book mailing box. The book weighs, when packed, 1080 grams. As a consequence, Parcel Post applies. Additional Postal services are available and will be charged at cost, upon request.
